Tony Davoren & Pete Dawson

Tony Davoren is an Irish musician and singer from Hollywood Co. Wicklow, Ireland. He grew up playing traditional Irish music in the bars and clubs of Dublin and before long was a popular accompanist and sought after Balladeer. In 1992, Tony joined Anuna the Celtic Irish choral group that was later to win the attention of Bill Whelan for Riverdance. His years with Riverdance (1994 - 2001) saw Tony appearing on many of the great stages of the world including Radio City and performing for the Prince of Wales in the Royal variety show in the Albert Hall London. Tony has appeared on many recordings as both a singer and musician most notably for Sinead O'Connor and Irish greats - The Chieftains. He plays Bouzouki, Mandolin, Guitar and Bodhran and currently lives in Sunset Louisiana (Cajun country) where together with his wife, former Riverdancer - Sheila Ryan,  created Camp Rince Ceol. Camp Rince Ceol is the first Irish Dance and Music summer sleepover camp for kids. Tony is presently working on a solo CD, and enjoys playing locally with his Cajun/Celtic crossover band Celjun.

Pete Dawson
Pete Dawson is a Native of Baton Rouge and has been playing Irish flute and penny whistle since the age of 5. His father and mother were  big fans of Irish music and their enthusiasm was instilled in Pete at this early age. It wasn't long before Pete was considered one of the finest musicians playing Irish music in Louisiana and his dextrous breathy Flute style became his hallmark. Pete formed the band Drowsey Maggie while studying at UL and was also a member of the UL Ragin Cajuns marching band. He and Tony Davoren started palying music together in 2004 and shortly after Pete joined the band Celjun with and Mitch Reed. Pete has featured on many recordings as a flute and whistle player and is also a very fine Irish singer. He has recently returned to Baton Rouge where he lives with his Wife Julia and their 2 small children.
